A New Season for the Rodgers Family: Leveling Up Together
For years, I've been out there grinding as a local musician—late-night out-of-town shows, hotels, miles on the road, crazy hours that stretched into the early morning. Every gig, every set, every load-in and load-out... I chased it all. And through every one of those chaotic schedules, my wife was my anchor. She held everything together at home, managed the chaos I brought back with me, and supported me without hesitation. She even said it herself: "It's not my turn yet."
Well, now it is.
Her moment has arrived. Doors are opening wide for her—opportunities she's more than earned through her talent, heart, and quiet strength. It's time for her to step fully into her destiny and enjoy the success she's always deserved. She's been waiting patiently, and now the spotlight is hers.
As her husband, I'm shifting gears to make that possible. It's my job as the man of the house to lead our family forward while giving her the space to grow into everything she was put here to do. That means I'll be stepping back from the live performance grind. I'll still play shows— the ones that feel right and light me up—but they won't be as frequent. My schedule is clearing so I can be fully present at home, supporting her rise the way she's supported mine.
This isn't just about her shining; it's about all of us leveling up as the Rodgers family.
For me, this shift is lighting a fire under the parts of music I've always loved but haven't had the bandwidth to dive into fully. I'm moving deeper into writing and producing—crafting songs with the goal of placing them in movies, TV shows, commercials, and video games. I'll be tracking killer guitar parts and vocals for other artists who want to release their best work. I'm excited to start producing: taking singer/songwriters' raw worktapes and turning them into polished, radio-ready tracks. Mixing, mastering—bringing songs to life in the studio. I might even get back into teaching lessons and sharing what I've learned along the way.
And yeah... I've got a few other tricks up my sleeve. Things I've been dreaming about for years. Guess you'll have to stick around to see what they are.
Performing has been a staple in my life for so long, and I love it—but growth means evolving. This next chapter is about intention, depth, and balance. It's about contributing in new ways while stepping into my own destiny alongside hers.
The Rodgers family is rising—together. Her time is now. Our kids get to see both parents chasing what we're meant for. And the music? It's only going to get richer.
Thank you for being part of this journey with us. Your support has carried me this far, and I can't wait to share what's coming next.
With love and gratitude,
Ron
